Sayyid Hadi Rizvi grew up in London, UK, where he began his seminary studies at the Hawzah of England in 2007. At the same time, he also began taking private Islamic studies classes with local scholars in South London. In 2009 he transferred to the seminary of Qom, where he continued studying at multiple institutions until 2017.
While in Qom, he completed a bachelor's degree in Jurisprudence and Islamic Studies (magna cum laude), and audited the traditional Satḥ (level) 2 and 3 classes.
Amongst some of the advanced level extracurricular studies that Sayyid Hadi undertook were: Legal Maxims, Social Jurisprudence, Islamic Political Theory, Epistemology, Palaeography for Religious Texts, Western Intellectual History, and Hadith studies.
In his final year in Qom, Syed Hadi attended Kharij level classes in Jurisprudence, Legal Theory, and Rijjal.
On returning to the UK, he lectured at the Hawzah of England between 2017 to 2019. During his tenure in the Hawzah of England, he taught Arabic Morphology, Islamic History, Theology, Demonstrative Jurisprudence, Logic, Legal Studies, and Quranic Sciences.
Sayyid Hadi currently resides in the US and is an independent researcher who serves the community through workshops, conferences, seminars and producing research papers.
